We are happy that you are here! We are a family owned business since 1983. Reed Shaw was a full time art teacher and also a lover of Stockton Lake. He spent his summers sailing as a kid, then with his own children Cody, Kelsea, and Lucas later in life. By spending so much time on the lake and getting to know the boating community at Stockton, Reed was able to see the need for a sailboat repair shop. So Reed being the entrepreneur and sailor that he is, decided to open Grand Mariner Yacht Service to fulfill the needs of the community. By the early 2000's Grand Mariner Yacht Service had grown into a full time job. Reed retired from teaching where he was able to focus fully on boat repair, sales, and restoration.
Now, with Reed's son Cody at the helm and his daughter Everly aboard, they still look forward to servicing you with all your sailboating needs, including boat repair, diesel engine service, new sails, and ASA sailing courses, taught by Reed himself and so much more. We have a variety of gifts in our waterfront store, including Whiskey Boat Goods candles, a small line of clothing, and handmade jewelry by Reed. We also carry all-natural soap and sunscreen products, a variety of tumblers, floats, t-shirts, coolers and hammocks, along with sailboat hardware and other boating parts. Today, we still believe that quality is a tradition and customer service is a priority. We can’t wait to meet you!
